Experience Ireland's treasures with us.

It´s good if you arrive at Shannon Airport by lunchtime on a Monday.
We travel to Limerick where we stay at a wonderful B & B (Bed & Breakfast). After checking in, we head to Lough Gur where we spend the rest of the afternoon and evening. We end the visit with dinner. Then we head back to Limerick.

After a good night's sleep we start our new day with a full "Irish Breakfast" and when we are all full and satisfied we set off on new adventures.
 
When we have experienced and seen much of the west coast, we head to Kilkenny, where we visit the castle from year 1172nd

After a few nights here, we leave Kilkenny and head to Dublin, where we stop for a few days and visit both the Guinness Storehouse and the Jameson Whiskey manufacturing.

We visit:

  • Lough Gur - a nature reserve where we among other things enjoy the wonderful environment and a stone circle.
  • Bunratty Castle - a very well-kept old castle with a park where we can walk in a village built in the Middle Ages.
  • Craggaunowen - a walk where we see how people lived in the Bronze Age. We also see the boat that discovered America long before Columbus.
  • Glendale Abbey - Benedict monastery founded in 1929. Housing 40 monks. They also have a boarding school for boys and a farm among other things. We listen to the monks' evening choir in the colorful church.
  • Old Abbey - Ruins of an old church where they still bury people.
  • Hazel Mountain Chocolate - a chocolate factory where they import cocoa beans from different places and manufacture high-quality chocolate pralines.
  • Cliffs of Moher - Cliffs on the west coast of Ireland. The rocks carved by time. Considered one of the natural wonders of the world. Number 10 in the list of top world attractions.
  • Kilkenny Castle - Kilkenny was Ireland's first capital. The castle was built in 1172 extended 1192 and now rebuilt by the look of the 1800s.
  • Visit a silver and goldsmith and a watch manufacturer.
  • St. Canices Cathedral - Cathedral with a round tower. Amazing beautiful view of Kilkenny.
  • St Mary's Cathedral - beautiful church from 1847
  • Trinity College - is an Irish collage which was founded in 1592 by queen Elizabeth I. It is Ireland's oldest university. Currently has 678 teachers and 15 000 students.
  • Jameson Whiskey - guided tour including tasting and dinner.
  • Guinness Storehouse - production and tasting of beer.
  • St. Patrick's Cathedral - a large well-known church in Dublin.
